Troubleshooting
A lead didn't appear in LeadWinner
What to check when a platform shows a lead but your dashboard doesn't.
You can see the lead in your Yelp, Thumbtack, or Google LSA inbox, but it’s not on your Leads page? Work through these checks.
1. Give it a minute
Platforms deliver new leads to us with a short delay — usually seconds, occasionally a few minutes on the platform’s side. If the lead just arrived, refresh the Leads page after a minute or two.
2. Check the source connection
Open Sources:
- A red “Account requires reconnection” alert means lead delivery is interrupted — fix it first: Account requires reconnection.
- For Google LSA, the business must show no warning banner. “Waiting for approval,” “Connection declined,” or “Not an Active LSA Account” all mean leads aren’t flowing yet — contact support and we’ll help you sort it out.
3. Make sure you’re looking at the right business
A connected account can contain several businesses — click “Show businesses” on the account card to expand them all. The lead may belong to a sibling business (for example, a second location), and the Leads page may be filtered to a different one.
4. Is it actually a new lead?
LeadWinner tracks leads — new customer requests with a conversation attached (see Key concepts). Other platform activity (reviews, profile views, promotional messages from the platform itself) doesn’t create a lead. Also, conversations that started before you connected the source may not appear retroactively; messages that predate the connection show up only as history inside leads we do track, marked “Before LeadWinner.”
5. Was the source connected after the lead arrived?
Leads that arrived before the connection was approved aren’t imported. The AI responds to leads received from the moment the source is connected and the business is active.
Still missing?
Contact support with:
- the platform (Yelp, Thumbtack, or Google LSA),
- the business name,
- the approximate time the lead arrived, and
- the customer’s first name as the platform shows it.
We’ll trace the delivery on our side and tell you exactly where it stopped.
